Program Details

Cayuga County Community College offers an online liberal arts degree, the Associate of Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences.  This program is designed for those who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university.  It is meant to be a start for students who want to continue their studies in the humanities or social sciences while earning bachelor’s degrees.  You will learn a general understanding of our human and natural environment, be able to use methods of investigation and expression to communicate with others, and have the ability to understand and evaluate information.  Students also learn academic skills including research, critical thinking, and problem solving, and are aware of diverse cultures.
