Program Details

The online Educational Specialist in Curriculum and Instruction program is designed for teaching practitioners, instructional coaches, lead teachers, and others who wish to work in educational leadership capacities.  Candidates develop advanced skills in analyzing theory and research findings for application in a variety of educational settings and focus on the development of leadership skills required for implementation of research-based change strategies.  Courses include Foundations of Leadership, Curriculum and Instruction Strategies, Educational Leadership Theory and Policy Analysis, The Teacher as Leader, and Evaluation for Continuous Improvement.
