Associate of Arts in Child Development

Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Child Development program is designed for students interested in transferring to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree to further prepare them to work with and understand young children.  The program covers general education courses as well as specific courses in child development and administration.  Courses in child development are:

  • Teacher, Community and Family Relations
  • Preschool Behavior & Guidance
  • Child Growth & Development
  • Language and Physical Skills
  • Program Planning & Administration

Requirements

  • Official high school and college (if applicable) transcripts
  • Official copies of ACT or SAT scores (ACCUPLACER is accepted for adult students 21 years and older)
  • Copies of social security card and driver's license
  • Official copies of CLEP or AP test scores (if applicable)
