Capella University's online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Project Management program advances your knowledge of and expertise with project leadership. This program covers current and emerging methodologies, risk-management techniques, contemporary leadership theories and practices, and complexity theories for improving project and program results.
With hands-on practice managing virtual teams and a focus on global project-management theory and practice, you can gain the skills necessary to lead projects and programs in a variety of settings, and to conduct appropriate research to improve project-management practices.

With your DBA in Project Management from Capella, you'll have the skills to synthesize multi-disciplinary theories that inform and shape theory and practice of initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project. You'll also be able to evaluate functional and cross-functional management approaches, synthesize project management research and practice, and apply ethical leadership strategies to integrate best practices and tools in the field of project management.
