Online Associate of Science of Business Administration
Campbellsville University offers an Online Associate of Science of Business Administration degree program. This program provides flexibility for students who desire to earn a degree on their time schedule. This program will provide students with a working knowledge of business fundamentals, such as accounting, finance, marketing, and management. Business administration combines aspects of business as well as management.
The program is designed for working adults who wish to complete the first two-years of their college education. By completing a business degree students will be prepared to enter a broad spectrum of career paths in the business field. These will range from opportunities with small companies to large corporations. Credits earned with an associate's degree program may also be applied toward a bachelor’s degree program.
Students will complete a total of 60 total credit hours, 30 of which are general education credit hours. On average, students are generally able to complete the program in two years. Students can chose multiple classes in business administration including Principles of Accounting, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Introduction to Business, Marketing, Introduction to Finance, Microcomputer Applications, Principles of Management, and Human Resource Management. Upon completion, students will have the skills needed to apply for careers with positions such as Operations and Plant Management, Strategic Planning, Consulting, and Entrepreneurship.

In 1900, the Russell Creek Baptist Association made the decision to establish the Russell Creek Academy in Campbellsville. Students first enrolled in 1907, and by 1924, academic growth launched the school’s official name change to Campbellsville College. As the college transitioned from a junior college to four-year program, Campbellsville celebrated accreditation and, once again, in 1996, changed its name to Campbellsville University. Today, the private, four-year Christian institution has a main campus on 85 acres in Campbellsville, Kentucky, along with the 135-acre Clay Hill Memorial Forest, a research prodiverty located seven miles from the main campus. Campbellsville University awards associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, along with pre-professional, post-graduate, and certificate programs.
At Campbellsville University, students can choose from more than 80 programs in a wide range of fields and degree options. Non-traditional students can pursue various options at Campbellsville University. Distance education programs offer online, hybrid, and web-assisted coursework. Students complete asynchronous online coursework and many programs are offered in accelerated formats.
