Master of Theology

Program Details

Campbellsville University offers a Master of Theology program online. The program is designed to prepare Christian ministers for effective service through the church for the world through theological and ministerial training. Students gain skills that will teach them to be passionately evangelical, rooted in the biblical story, church-connected, servant leaders, spiritual entrepreneurs, and partners in an enduring fellowship.


  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Eighteen undergraduate hours in Christian studies OR a master’s degree OR applicable graduate courses
  • If undergraduate overall GPA is below 3.0, either GRE (Graduate Record Exam) OR MAT (Miller Analogy Test)
  • Philosophy of ministry essay (two to three pages)
  • Two reference letters (one from an academician and one from a ministry mentor)
  • Interview with the dean of the school of theology
