This online Master of Arts in Education degree in School Counseling prepares you to impact the lives of students through guidance and Christian values. Program participants will learn how to meet the wide range of academic, career, social, and emotional needs students have.
The roles of a school counselor are diverse, and the courses in this program reflect those responsibilities. Students will study topics such as college readiness, substance abuse, group counseling, and ethical considerations. Classes also examine trends in education and counseling, history and philosophy of school counseling, and societal influences on student performance. Three internship experiences allow for real-world practice of concepts taught in your courses.
