Gain dual teaching certifications with this online bachelor’s degree in Learning and Behavior Disorders and Elementary Education. The Elementary Education portion of the program allows you to seek certification to teach preschool through grade 5. Meanwhile, the Learning and Behavior Disorders coursework prepares you to work in special education from preschool through grade 12.

After completing all coursework, clinical practice hours, and student teaching, you will be eligible to sit for the Praxis exam for licensure in elementary education and special education in Kentucky. With the online special education degree, you will learn about learning disabilities, behavior management of students with learning and behavior issues, and curriculum development for special education. In the online elementary education degree courses, you will study methodologies for all elementary subjects, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
