Bachelor of Science in Business Administration / Marketing
Calvary University offers students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. The degree program is designed to fundamentally educate and train individuals to become qualified leaders in Christian organizations as well as in outside business entities.
Marketing is a vital aspect of acquiring new business as well as maintaining a current client base; effective marketing strategies are responsible for growth within an industry in addition to promotion of new ventures. Students may use the Marketing concentration to focus on promotion of church events and organizations featuring a belief in Christ.
The Business Administration program is 132 credit hours and is comprised of core business topics. Courses in the program provide students with the effective and efficient theory and applications needed to make profitable choices for organizations they serve. Students will be introduced to the essential concepts of study delving into areas of interest such as: Legal Implications of Business, Business Information Systems, and Business Statistics.
Students must also complete the general education courses in mathematics, literature, social and natural sciences, history, humanities and the fine arts. Successful students should be able to accurately use hermeneutics when analyzing, interpreting and applying business marketing in many professions.
Graduates should consistently demonstrate growth in their Christian character throughout the program and enrollment at the College. Successful students, upon graduation, may use the formal education when seeking careers communicating the scriptural truths in an accurate and effective manner to individuals in need.
