Business Administration: Management
Calvary University offers students the opportunity to earn a Bachelor degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. The degree program is designed to fundamentally educate and train individuals to become qualified leaders in Christian organizations as well as in outside business entities.
Students may use the Business Administration curriculum to gain entry-level careers, providing a biblical approach to managing a workforce. The management concentration should allow students to sharpen skills needed when accomplishing feats associated with the growth of a secular business. The management concentration also builds on a student’s understanding of legal factors, communication skills ethics and critical decision making skills.
The Business Administration program is 132 credit hours and is comprised of core business topics. Students will be introduced to the essential concepts of study delving into areas of interest such as: Accounting, Organizational Marketing & Sales, and Organizational Behavior.
Students must also complete the general education courses, broadening depth of studies in mathematics, literature, social and natural sciences, history, humanities and the fine arts. Successful students should be able to accurately use hermeneutics when analyzing, interpreting and applying business practices in many professions.
Graduates should consistently demonstrate growth in their Christian character throughout the program and enrollment at the College. Successful students, upon graduation, may use the formal education when seeking careers communicating the scriptural truths in an accurate and effective manner to individuals in need.

Three separate Bible institutes for higher learning were founded in Kansas City, Kansas, Salina, Kansas, and Ozark, Arkansas, during the first part of the twentieth century. Each progressed forward, establishing baccalaureate programs. Then mergers began, and by 1987 the three schools transitioned into a single Calvary Bible College, located in Kansas City. During this same period, Calvary Theological Seminary began operating as a branch of the College. When the other three campuses merged in 1992, Calvary Theological Seminary established a separate institution. At first, both Calvary Bible College and Calvary Theological Seminary operated as two individual schools, but in 2016, the institutions merged and rebranded as Calvary University.
Calvary University is a private, not-for-profit, non-denominational institution based on Christian principals. The university awards associate’s, bachelor’s, and master's degrees, along with certificates. Calvary University also provides a non-traditional format for added flexibility, including all online degrees.
