This program will take 12 consecutive months and 30 credit hours to complete. The program is offered at two start times: January and July. Each start time is composed of two summer semesters as well as a fall and spring semester, just in different orders depending on start time.

Some of the courses students will enroll in are Essentials of Human Movement Science, Nutrition for Peak Performance, Special Topics in Sport Psychology, and Research in Sport Psychology. Students will have six classes (18 credit) in core classes, and four classes (12 credits) that are specialized for the Sport Psychology track.

Personality, youth sport, coaching, team dynamics, and evolutionary perspectives can all be areas in the sports psychology field. Students will be decide what interests them the most and, by gaining more knowledge through classes, course work, and discussion, choose the sports psychology field that fits with their wants and needs.
