The online Associate of Science in Applied Policing & Technology program focuses on technology and hands-on police training as students learn the skills needed to succeed as law enforcement officers. The curriculum teaches students to collect and process evidence, conduct crime scene investigations, conduct interviews and interrogations, understand and apply criminal law and procedures, and analyze current issues in policing. You will also learn about the technology that plays an increasing role in police work, such as GPS units, infrared cameras, computer software, and advanced communication systems, so that you can use them effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Official high school transcript or GED scores
- SAT/ACT test scores (waived for students who have been out of high school for at least two years, or who have earned 12 college-level credits)
