Program Details

The online Master of Arts in Reading, Language & Literacy program connects theory and practice to prepare teachers for the modern, Common Core centric classroom, where every teacher is a literacy coach.  The curriculum provides advanced preparation in reading and language arts assessment and instruction, along with a strong foundation in theory and research in the teaching of reading and writing in the PreK-12 educational system.  Graduates are prepared to work within diverse settings, maximizing learning for diverse student populations.

Requirements

  • Conferred Bachelors Degree from Accredited university
  • A minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.5
  • Verification of a Valid and Cleared Basic Teaching Credential
  • Statement of Purpose
  • Two letters of recommendation
