Program Details
The bachelor’s in Sociology online allows students to examine social problems both large and small. The curriculum helps develop students’ theoretical, methodological, and advocacy skills.
Areas of study include sociological theory, inequality, race issues, ethnic studies, gender in society, and research methods. Students will learn how to analyze social experiences and discuss the implications of social inequalities. An online sociology degree can lead to careers in advertising and market research, city planning, social services, community organizing, and more.
Students can choose from five concentrations:
