Program Details

The online Master of Science in Education with a concentration in Secondary Education program teaches classroom teachers contemporary concepts and new ideas about grade 6-12 instruction. This program is designed to help career secondary classroom teachers upgrade their skills, become informed about new ideas in secondary teaching and prepare for curriculum leadership roles in public and private schools.

The program provides a variety of exit options, including National Board certification. This program is offered in a cohort format, allowing you to progress through the program with the same group of peers. Coursework focuses on curriculum design, research, instructional and assessment strategies, integration of technology, and reflection skills.
