Program Details
The online Master of Science in Education in Literacy and Reading program builds on already learned foundations of the essential knowledge and skills to effectively integrate contemporary reading concepts into practical pedagogical practice. Students will excel in areas of curriculum creation and linguistics while developing a socio-cultural understanding within the teaching field. Graduates may use the degree’s curriculum to maintain current teaching positions and satisfy continuing education requirements, or as the needed education to pursue positions as private clinicians, reading coaches/specialists, district literacy specialists, teacher trainers, literacy coordinators, community college professors, or literacy specialists in publishing and industry.
