CSU in Fullerton offers the Professional Office Administrators certificate, which can be completed entirely through online courses, allowing students the flexibility to earn a valuable education to pursue advanced career opportunities. 

The certificate’s primary objectives are the development of already working administrative professionals, by enhancing their career skills to achieve personal performance goals. The certificate courses build on already learned concepts, while introducing students to innovative office technology and outcomes of restructuring an organization. The certificate strives to enable graduates beyond general office administration tasks, and set them as necessary roles in a successful business.

Administrative Professionals are often delegated tasks requiring modern knowledge and skills to function effectively and efficiently. The certificate will give administrative professionals the necessary understandings to operate as leaders and managers, crucial to the operational success. The specialized program is comprised of 6 courses, each strategically designed to address specific aspects of administrative duties. Today, the University bears little resemblance to its founding. Located in Orange County, California, just thirty miles south of Los Angeles, Cal State Fullerton offers 100-plus undergraduate and graduate degrees, including doctorate degrees housed in nine colleges:

Courses are typically asynchronous, and students complete weekly assignments, including discussion boards. Cal State Fullerton also offers self-paced coursework through CD-ROMs.
