Program Details

California State University-East Bay offers a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies. The curriculum is multidisciplinary as well as interdisciplinary, equipping students for graduate work in social sciences, law, and humanities, and for careers in municipal, state, and federal government. There are two options provided to suit students' personal interests and professional goals:

  • Asian American Studies
  • Genders & Sexualities in Communities of Color


  • Major offerings are offered online, however only select general education requirements may be available online. 
  • Transfer requires a minimum of 30 semester units to meet General Eduation requirements
  • GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • Official transcripts
