Master of Engineering Management (MEM)
California University offers a Master of Engineering Management degree program online. This Master degree program prepares students for a professional career in Quality Assurance Science and Engineering. Students are expected to be proficient in management concepts and a variety of technology techniques upon graduation. The program applies behavioral principles connected with self awareness, perception, communication, motivation, productivity, group processes, organizational change, personal stress, and leadership.
In order to apply for a degree in Master of Engineering Management, a Bachelor degree in Engineering or a related field is required. The degree requires students to obtain a GPA of 15 unites of the Standard Core, 18 units of Pre-Approved Electives, and a final Graduate Project. The Standard Core courses will provide students with an overall breadth of knowledge in management theories, production and management systems analysis and development, project management, and engineering statistics.
Students are given a wide-range of elective courses to choose from including topics such as Financial Theory, International Management, Quality Control, and Taguchi’s Experimental Design Methods to name a few. To complete the Master’s program, each inpidual must complete a graduate project that requires a written Report documenting the application of the coursework to a real world problem.
