Program Details

California InterContinental University offers an online Master of Business Administration with a prominence in Organizational Development and Human Resource Management. Students who are seeking out a career in human resource management, business development management, and/or organizational effectiveness consulting will find that this program offers courses highlighting business management and human resource abilities. 

After completing the preliminary required courses, there are emphasis courses in management that help shape students into model administrators. The courses cover teamwork and organizational skills, as well as, recognizing and understanding management concepts, models, and theories from international and global perspectives. Students will understand the difference between quantitative and qualitative research, the importance of marketing and brand management, and how to make strategic decisions that impact the organization as a whole. The program is rounded out with either a Master’s Capstone Project or a Master’s Thesis Plan approved by the Student Advisory Faculty.


In addition to the preliminary admissions requirements, an applicant for the Master's degree program must submit and meet the following admission prerequisites:
  • A copy of the applicant's Curriculum Vitae or Professional Resume.
  • Official Transcript showing the completion of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and/or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation – CHEA.
  • An applicant who has completed his Bachelor's degree in a non-business related area (i.e., Engineering or Science) is required to meet CalUniversity's business foundational prerequisites by taking a required course in Basic Accounting. Other elective courses are available for the student's consideration.
  • The applicant's prior college academic records must show a minimal Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of C (2.0 on a scale of 4.0) or higher.
