California Baptist University offers a Master of Public Administration degree. The curriculum is 36 units: 33 units of core courses and three units of final requirement. Students have the following options for the final requirement: Comprehensive Examination Seminar, Research Project, or Research Thesis and Research Thesis Continuation.
Students are encouraged to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. The curriculum has a holistic approach; students develop strong moral character while developing a strong background in various topics of public administration. Christian perspectives are integrated into the coursework, which helps students develop a deeper understanding of how their values and faith relate to public administration; students will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to become leaders in local, state, and federal government agencies with ethical values.
The objective of the MPA program at California Baptist is to deliver an education in public administration that is designed to help develop students into effective leaders who implement change and manage in ways that align with the values that honor God. Although the classes are offered online, professors are very engaged with the students. Students will also learn from their fellow colleagues, as they all come from a variety of backgrounds. Professors foster a learning environment in which team-building and interpersonal skills are encouraged. Additionally, students receive an education that emphasizes learning through practical application, which provides hands-on experience.

California Baptist University, founded in 1950, stands on 130 plus acres in Riverside, California, and continues to promote a "Christ-centered educational experience" based on founding principles.
