Program Overview

California Baptist University offers a Bachelor of Arts completion degree in Organizational Leadership. The curriculum is 49 units: 42 units of core courses and seven units of additional program courses. All students are to complete CST 100 and meet the Upper Christian Studies requirements. Additionally, all students must complete Composition and Intermediate Composition prior to taking the core courses. It is preferred that applicants have a minimum of 24 transferrable units.

Students are encouraged to grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. The curriculum has a holistic approach: students develop strong moral character while developing strong backgrounds in multiple disciplines. Christian perspectives are introduced into the coursework, and students develop a deeper understanding of how their values and faith relate to organizational leadership. By integrating analytical thought and critical thinking into the curriculum, students develop a refined set of ethical and moral principles that are extremely valuable in both professional and personal endeavors.

Furthermore, the coursework has a holistic approach in an academic sense; topics of communication, finance, sociology, and management are covered. The coursework encompasses topics of: communication techniques, strategic leadership, business ethics, group behavior, organizational change, data analysis and presentations, human resources, non-profit organization leadership, and a few others.
