The online Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Studies program is designed to take students through a journey that embraces personal, professional, and spiritual transformation while preparing them to work with non-disabled and disabled children, zero to eight years old, in diverse learning environments. The curriculum focuses on young children’s growth and development including cognitive, social, emotional, and perceptual-motor development as students become familiar with various assessments and developmentally appropriate learning environments for young children. Graduates are equipped to address issues in a global context, with the ethical standards of a Christian heritage, and are able to self-reflect, think critically, lead and engage others, and make effective decisions.
Students may transfer up to 24 previously earned undergraduate credits
