Bucks County Community College offers an online history degree, the Certificate in Historic Preservation.  This degree in history is designed for those seeking careers in the historic preservation field.  It can be used to enhance present careers or to begin new careers in such offices as:

  • Educational Institutions
  • Historic Reproduction Businesses
  • Zoning Commissions

You will learn about the theoretical and historical bases of historical preservation, American architectural history, and research techniques to document historic sites.  In addition, courses help students learn to apply historic preservation standards and regulations to specific sites and to communicate historic preservation values to the general public.
