The AA in Psychology degree program prepares students for careers in a wide variety of fields including sales, social work, administrative positions, real estate, insurance, marketing, and more. Two programs of study are offered:
- The Pre-Professional Emphasis is designed for students who intend to transfer into a four year bachelor’s degree program in psychology and who plan to attend graduate school to pursue a professional career in psychology.
- The Interpersonal Emphasis is for students who are interested in psychology, but may not yet know if they definitely want to attend graduate school. This major allows students, who are undecided in their career choice, flexibility to complete a bachelor’s degree in psychology or other fields such as human or social services, business, recreation, law, and health care.

Established in 1964, Bucks County Community College is a two-year, public institution of higher education, with a main campus located in the city of Newtown, Pennsylvania. Bucks County Community College offers more than seventy program options, offering associate’s degrees, including transfer programs, and certificate options. Popular majors at BCCC include: business administration, education, liberal arts, and nursing. Along with academic degree programs, the Continuing Education and Workforce Development supports ongoing trainings for area businesses and students, provides adult learning assistance and skills training, and offers in-school youth programs. ELearning programs at Bucks County Community College range from two-year degrees that can be completed entirely online to hybrid programs of study.
