Program Details

The online Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice provides students with a solid foundation in criminal justice and the functions of police departments, courts, and sanctions. Students gain an understanding of the purpose and scope of criminal law. Students examine the constitution, conditions that can lead to crime, and defenses that may apply to some legal cases.

Classes include, but are not limited to: 

  • American State and Local Government
  • Introduction to Juvenile Justice
  • Criminology

Classes are taught by experienced faculty. Graduates may apply to careers such as police officer, deputy sheriff, or correctional officer. Graduates have the necessary skills and training to succeed in law and justice careers.
