Master of Social Work

Program Details

Professional social workers are in high demand. The online Master of Social Work program equips students with the knowledge and skills required to provide compassionate, respectful service, advocate for social justice, understand the importance of human relationships, and use evidence-based interventions. Graduates are prepared to take leadership roles within their work environments and on behalf of the profession.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Completion of Introduction to Social Work with a minimum grade of C
  • Completion of a Statistics course, with minimum grade of C
  • GPA of 3.0 for last 60 hours earned, for full program; GPA of 3.2 for last 60 hours earned, for Advanced Standing
  • Typed personal statement (3-4 pages)
