The primary objective is to attract and recruit suitable employees with proper industry marketing, then hire and oversee training and development during the entire employment with the organization. HR is also involved in employee terminations - including resignations, performance-related dismissals, and redundancies. Human resources is the human touch to the dynamic business industry.

Students must complete the 36 credit Masters program is a series of three segments; allowing for the student to gain the foundation for satisfactory completion of the final capstone project. The first segment is comprised of 24 credits of core Human Resource concepts such as: Conflict and Negotiation, Recruitment and Selection, Human Resources Systems, Training and Development, Compensation, Legal Issues, Benefits and Organizational Research. The remaining credits are dedicated to the students choice of electives (9 credits) in topics best suited to personal and professional goals, and the completion of a final capstone Human Resources project in strategic management (3 credits).
