Master of Business Administration / E-Business Strategic Management
The Master of Business Administration degree program with an emphasis in E-Business Strategic Management studies builds on already learned business subjects, while also introducing professional students to essential concepts in information technology development, innovation, internet based systems, and project management. Students may choose to complete the required courses at one of the many participating California campuses or completely online.
E-Business Strategic Management should delve into the study and application of planning, organizing, motivating, and controlling resources to achieve industry specific goals. The management of individual projects requires the advanced development of distinct technical skills and management strategies learned from the specific concentration courses. Successful completion of the required courses, the capstone project and the decided elective courses in E-Business, students should be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business leadership necessary when analyzing business functions and processes, formulating effective business strategies and identifying characteristics of other leadership potential. Graduates should be able to manage critical tasks throughout the projects duration, these tasks include but are not limited to: defining goals, creating and maintaining schedules, establishing and monitoring budgets, delegating tasks to other team members, monitoring project process and actual deadline completion.
Requires an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Admission GPA Requirements: Option One - GPA required 3.00 or Higher: A 3.0 GPA calculated over the most recent 30 graded semester (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential. All credits used for GPA calculation must be from a regionally accredited institution. Option Two - GPA between 2.50 and 2.99, qualifying score on GRE, MAT or GMAT. GRE: achieve the required minimum scores on two out of three of the subsections of the GRE. (Minimum score for Quantitative: 141, minimum score for Verbal: 150, minimum score for Analytic Writing: 4.5) Miller Analogies Test (MAT): achieve a minimum scaled score of 400. Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT): fulfill the formula GMAT + (GPA X 200) > 1000. Option Three - An earned master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. Option Four - GPA below 2.50, Portfolio.
