Program Details

Earning an advanced education in business is a priority for many professionals. Brandman University offers qualified students the opportunity to earn the necessary knowledge and skills for upward movement in many business organizations or personal endeavors. The Master of Business Administration degree program is available to students through an innovative on campus and online learning program. Students have the option of completing the required courses at one of the many participating California campuses or completely online. The MBA degree program also allows students to customize their curriculum beyond a general business education by allocating credits towards the students choice of concentration area. The areas of concentration include Accounting, E-Business Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Health Administration, Human Resources, and more.

The MBA program is designed to prepare students to perform as managers and leaders in various types of organizations and business settings. The flexible MBA program delves into core business aspects critical to the success of both, current and future employers and the graduates personal development. The core MBA courses expand on a student’s previous knowledge of business while also introducing management level concepts of: Financial Reporting, Data and Economic Analysis, Business Process and Innovation, Corporate Responsibility, Human Resources, Marketing and Organizational Dynamics, Development and Change. In addition to the core MBA courses, students have the option of choosing an area of concentration.

Upon successful completion of the required courses, capstone project and elective courses, graduate students should be able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of business leadership necessary when analyzing business functions and processes, formulating effective business strategies and identifying characteristics of other leadership potential. Graduates holding a MBA degree may be eligible for jobs that need the advanced education, knowledge and understanding of core business concepts and the practical application of business theory when competing for promotions or completing critical tasks.


Requires an earned baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution. Admission GPA Requirements: Option One - GPA required 3.00 or Higher: A 3.0 GPA calculated over the most recent 30 graded semester (45 quarter) credits completed in either a baccalaureate or post baccalaureate program, including credits earned toward a credential. All credits used for GPA calculation must be from a regionally accredited institution. Option Two - GPA between 2.50 and 2.99, qualifying score on GRE, MAT or GMAT. GRE: achieve the required minimum scores on two out of three of the subsections of the GRE. (Minimum score for Quantitative: 141, minimum score for Verbal: 150, minimum score for Analytic Writing: 4.5) Miller Analogies Test (MAT): achieve a minimum scaled score of 400. Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT): fulfill the formula GMAT + (GPA X 200) > 1000. Option Three - An earned master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution. Option Four - GPA below 2.50, Portfolio.
