Earning an Organizational Leadership degree should give graduate students the advanced formal academic education needed to provide a dynamic approach to current and future positions in management, organization and team building. The MA program is structured enough to provide students the sought after education, while also allowing for the students choice of elective courses to best fit personal aspirations. Successful students should use the MA designation to showcase the learned skills of leadership prowess to achieve a common goal for the betterment of the organization and all parties involved.

Students must fulfill the programs 4 sections totaling 36 credits: the first and second sections being foundational courses in democracy, ethics, leadership, self systems, research methods, organizational dynamics, team development and development and change. The third section is comprised of the students choice of electives. The electives must satisfy 12 credits, and can be focused in a student's area of personal interest in topics of: criminal justice, education, human resources, business administration, computer science and information systems, health systems administration, gerontology, organizational leadership or development, management and psychology. The final section is a comprehensive capstone course, culminating the students educational experience as well as a full understanding of the MA programs objectives.

The intrinsic value of acquiring the leadership education can lead to future successes as mid-high level managers able to lead and manage a goal oriented group of individuals. Completion of the MA program should also give graduate students the skills to perform many roles and responsibilities of leadership positions in the dynamic business environment.
