Bachelor of Business Administration / Organizational Communication
Brandman University offers students the opportunity to earn a valuable education, combining core business courses with the specialized focus on Organizational Communication. Students of the Bachelor of Business Administration degree program may attend the flexible program through one of the many participating California campuses, or completely online. The innovative learning format allows busy professional students and other non-traditional learners to maintain current careers and obligations while acquiring the BBA credentials.
The Organizational Communication concentration is designed for students seeking a solid business foundation with the specialized focus on communication practices. Successful students may use the learned skills to enter a variety of career opportunities including, but not limited to researchers, editors, journalists, marketers and public relations specialists. The dynamic business environment is highly dependent on effective and efficient communication to ensure daily functions are carried out, as well as future plans are critically analyzed and assessed.
Students can use the communication focus when expressing an exchange of information through thoughts, messages, or information, through speech, visuals, signals, writing, or behavior. Effective communication is one of the timeless, best and most valued business marketing tools available. Students may gain the skills to incorporate non verbal, oral, and written communication methods into current and future career aspirations. The BBA curriculum should give successful students the core knowledge in areas of advanced public speaking, theories of persuasion, public relations, and media. Upon completion of the BBA degree, graduates may emphasize the diverse avenues of human communication, while creatively incorporating how messages are interpreted through specific political, cultural, economic and social dimensions relevant to a particular target audience.
