Bachelor of Business Administration
Brandman University has made available to students interested in business the opportunity to earn a valuable Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with the students choice of concentrations. The several concentrations allow students to tailor their education to best fit personal and professional goals. The concentrations delve into the most sought after and industry relevant topics of: Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Management Organizational Communication, Organizational Leadership, Marketing, and Information Systems Management.
The Bachelor of Business Administration degree curriculum is comprised of 120 credits, 21 of which must be in a particular area of concentration. The remaining general business core courses introduce students to the essential concepts needed for successful entry into the competitive job market. The core courses cover the breadth and depth of topics, critical to the effective and efficient operation of almost any type of organization. Students may use the general business curriculum to supplement their chosen concentration to fully gain a comprehensive understanding of the programs objectives, as well as when pursuing entry-level positions performing basic business responsibilities.
In addition to the various topics of study, students also have the option of completing the required courses at one of the many participating California campuses, or entirely through online courses. The flexible learning format allows for busy professionals and other non-traditional learners to gain the needed education to exceed in current careers or to enter into a new industry. The BBA curriculum will prepare students for many opportunities and advancement in the growing, dynamic business environment.
Upon successful completion of the required courses, and a satisfactory capstone project, graduates will be awarded the sought after BBA designation. The degree should meet the high standards and demands of future employers, while also offering a specialized focus to create a vital asset when pursuing management and leadership opportunities. Successful students can always choose to supplement their BBA degree with additional certificate and licensures specific to their concentration, or continue their education at a Masters level.
