Social sciences are responsible for comprising many of the general education requirements of Brandman University and requirements at other colleges and universities, because they provide students with solid foundation for almost any current or future endeavor.
Students have the option of selecting three areas of concentration from the disciplines of: criminal justice, history, organizational leadership, political science, psychology, and sociology. The choice of concentrations can be personal or professional aspirations, or can serve as the foundation for a broad understanding of cultural diversity. Successful students should be able to apply the learned concepts to furthering educational pursuits or when entering fields of anthropology, economics, political science, psychology, sociology, history, law, linguistics, literature, and communications.
