Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership / Supply Chain Systems
Students have an opportunity to earn a formal education in the concentration of Supply Chain Systems from Brandman University. The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to meet the varied schedules of busy professionals or students with family and community obligations. The degree may be completed at one of the many California campuses, the approved military bases, and completely online. The specialized Supply Chain Systems curriculum supplements previous educations and experiences while also introducing to students the focused concepts of labor relations, organizational behavior, information systems, leadership, project management and strategies across the supply chain system.
The Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership degree program is comprised of core leadership courses, essential business courses, and the specialized courses in supply chain systems. The degree is designed as an applied studies curriculum, giving students the necessary courses and professionalism needed for immediate entry into the competitive job market. Organizational Leadership is a dynamic aspect of many successful business operations and includes the study of ethics, leadership, diversity and multicultural environments, communication, team building, and organizational development and change.
The focus on supply chain systems builds on coordination and operation methods of organizational leadership and explains the many products, people, processes, and services involved in the supply chains of organizations. The varied responsibilities of a supply chain professional dictate many monetary and business decisions to be made for the growth of a company or organization.
The specialized curriculum requires students to complete 120 credits of core courses in liberal arts, communication, ethics and sociology in addition to the supply chain systems courses delving into topics of: Strategies Across the Supply Chain, Organizational Behavior, and Organizational Information Systems. The dynamic program culminates with a final capstone research project to demonstrate a student's expertise and proficiency of the bachelor programs objectives. Upon successful completion of the required course credits and the final capstone project, students should be able to apply the learned skills when seeking success in future career goals and personal pursuits.
