Master of Software Engineering

Program Details

The online Master of Software Engineering program is designed for students who want to learn about software development, assessment, and management while also being strong leaders and communicators in order to achieve the organizational goals of modern businesses and institutions.  The curriculum teaches students to apply software engineering best practices to design, develop, operate, and maintain software systems.  Students also learn to build software solutions using different technologies, architects, and life-cycle approaches in the context of different organizational structures and gain programming expertise in Java.  Graduates are able to collaborate and communicate with team members and other stakeholders to achieve software development project goals.

  • An undergraduate degree in a technical field, with focus areas in data communications, TCP/IP protocol suite, networking devices, and a programming or scripting language, OR An undergraduate degree in a technical field with work experience in lieu of courses.
