Program Details

Learn about the intersection of creativity, technology and psychology in Brandeis University’s MS in User-Centered Design program. Unlike similar programs and certificates focusing primarily on UI design, our program explores human-computer interaction to understand what customers need and want in an optimized customer experience.

Our program is great for career changers and those wishing to advance their design and strategy careers. Customize your online degree with one of three tracks – Design, Strategy, or Research and Analytics – to align your skills with your long-term career goals. Tracks are optional, giving you the flexibility to create your focus by choosing from more than a dozen in-depth elective courses. Learn from industry professionals in interactive, small classes.

A full-time option allows you to complete the program in just one year, or you can take courses at your own pace and graduate in two and a half years. When you finish the program, you’ll have a professional portfolio to showcase your mastery of user-centered design, ready to land your next opportunity. Our graduates work in almost all industries, including healthcare, insurance, education, technology and more.
