Program Details

The online Master of Education in Special Education with a focus on Assistive Technology degree is designed to prepare teachers and other professionals to support students by using assistive technology.  The curriculum provides students with the skills needed to work effectively with individuals with special needs, their parents, teachers, professionals, and school districts seeking to introduce assistive technologies into multiple environments.  Students will learn how access to assistive technology enables individuals with disabilities to participate more fully in their homes, schools and communities, and how to provide this access.
