The online Master of Music in Music Education program prepares students to lift their music departments, schools, and communities and to extend music participation from infancy through senior adulthood. Students critically examine a variety of research that informs music education; and discuss and analyze philosophical, sociological, and psychological ideas and problems in the field of music education. The program offers flexibility, allowing students to choose electives that allow them to hone their scholarly writing and research skills. Graduates are re-energized, with their teaching bolstered by new techniques, research skills grounded in theory and history, and analytic skills sharpened.
