Master of Science in Interior Architecture
Boston Architectural College

Program Details

The Master of Science in Interior Architecture is an online architecture program designed for interior designers.  The curriculum allows interior designers to further their studies in design strategies and research or to develop specialized areas of design knowledge.  You will take courses in theory, method, and application with an emphasis placed on the character and use of spaces.  This architecture program challenges students to create environments that “…are responsive to the human experience” in a low-residency program that features the same rigor as the traditional classroom.

Students will learn to:

  • Develop innovative methods of creating more responsive environments
  • Apply knowledge gained from cultural studies and social sciences research to design
  • Incorporate input from a diverse set of design determinants into design strategies
  • Create performance-based design solutions
