Program Details

The Certificate of General Studies is an online liberal arts degree.  This program is designed to provide a foundation in a variety of disciplines, including English, mathematics, and science.  Coursework also provides reading comprehension and the ability to communicate effectively orally and through writing.  Students learn to use library resources to research various topics, critical thinking skills, and more.  This curriculum can be used to help students decide on an area they want to focus on when earning a degree or to further careers they have already started.
