Program Details

The online AAS in Criminal Justice degree program from Bossier Parish Community College prepares students for employment in local and regional law enforcement, corrections communities, and medicolegal death investigation, or for transfer to a four-year university to complete a Criminal Justice baccalaureate degree. In addition to general education subjects, courses cover topics such as:

  • Criminal Evidence & Procedure 
  • Criminal Law
  • Juvenile Justice 
  • Police Procedures


  • High school diploma from a state approved high school, a state approved home school, or a school accredited by a regionally accredited agency, or a GED/HiSET (High School Equivalency) diploma
  • Selective Service System Registration (males 18 and above)
  • ACT or SAT scores (students who have not taken the ACT or SAT will be required to take the ACCUPLACER Placement Test)
