Program Details

The online Master of Science in Respiratory Care is designed to support the professional advancement of active Registered Respiratory Therapists who wish to broaden the scope of their practices through the pursuit of administration and educational positions or those who wish to serve as leaders in the clinical setting.  The program focuses on educational leadership and teaches students to become content experts or consultants with an advanced understanding of cardiopulmonary physiology and disease management.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university
  • A cumulative GPA of 3.0 in undergraduate Respiratory Care coursework
  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (RRT)
  • Active state license (not applicable for Alaska & international students)
  • Clinical experience
  • Written statement of applicant’s educational goals/research interests/program expectations
  • Two letters of recommendation
