The online Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education program prepares students with the skills needed to shape the academic, social, and cognitive abilities of children ages birth to age six in high-quality, developmentally appropriate settings. The program provides opportunities in a variety of early childhood settings outside the public school system, such as childcare programs, churches, government agencies, non-profit organizations, medical and health related services, and social service agencies. Graduates could find careers including working directly with children, supervision and training of staff, support and education for families, and advocacy within the community about the education and needs of children.
