Program Details

Black Hills State University offers a Master of Education in Reading. The program allows students to gain professional practice in the field of reading and addresses all International Reading Association standards. A reading specialist collaboratively supports exemplary classroom teaching in literacy, assesses reading strengths and needs of students and communicates the information to fellow teachers, and serves as a resource to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Provide official BS/BA education degree transcripts (sent directly from an accredited college/university with evidence of a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale)
