A small number of introductory courses for a specific major are typically taken during the first two years. Academic advisors work closely with students and the four-year colleges and universities to assure that suitable courses are scheduled.

Students will take courses in English, Communications, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Mathematics, Physical Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, Fine Arts, Humanities, Life Science, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Non-Western Studies. Students are also required to complete a minimum of 64 credits.
