Associate Degree in Leadership Studies is the introductory degree program that may give undergraduate students the knowledge and skills needed to enter the competitive job market with skills of leadership and community development. Students may gain a deeper understanding of religious studies in addition to the core leadership courses to ensure a Christian based learning experience. Beulah Heights offers the Associate of Arts degree in Leadership Studies through an entirely online learning format. Students may complete the entire program through online coursework and virtual meetings.
The leadership studies program emphasizes a curriculum that may be applied when entering many professional environments, within or outside of a church or ministry. Professional leadership focuses on the attributes needed to blend ethics with marketable business skills. The abbreviated education pulls courses from the bachelor’s degree in leadership studies, and combines them with biblical studies courses to maintain a student’s foundation in Christianity. The leadership studies courses delve into topics of interest such as: Principles in Business, Innovative Ministry Management, and Biblical Leadership, among others.
Earning the Biblically-based education should prepare students as leaders in many fields of business and community development, applying the learned leadership qualities needed for success in the competitive marketplace. The men and women who graduate from Beulah Heights Associate program should be able to use the learned knowledge and skills when striving for community change in the public sector, as well as when entering into leadership positions in church or ministry settings. Successful students may use the associate’s degree to supplement further educational pursuits with the bachelors degree, or another degree concentration to best fit personal and professional goals.

Beulah Heights Bible Institute, founded in 1918, first educated local students in the surrounding area of Atlanta, Georgia. By 1946, the institution relocated to Lakeland, Florida, and then in the 1960s, the school developed into a four-year Bible institute setting goals to include a graduate program. In the 1970s, as programs expanded and Beulah Heights gained accreditation, the college changed names to Beulah Heights Bible College. Once graduate studies were set into motion just after the turn of the century, the Board of Trustees approved a name change once more, and the college transitioned to Beulah Heights University.
Students can pursue associate’s, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees, in addition to a doctorate degree. Beulah Heights University recognizes time constraints and required flexibility for working professionals and non-traditional students by sponsoring the Beulah Heights University Online Program. Regardless of location, students can complete their degrees at BHU.
