Professional Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

Program Details

Bentley University offers a Professional Master of Business Administration degree for students who are interested in developing their career and management opportunities while working. Students will learn about advanced business principles and practices while studying issues and technology in use by business and prepare for leadership roles within organizations. Students will study advanced and specialized topics relevant to managers and other professionals in business and how to utilize their knowledge in order to achieve mid to high-level management positions. The program offers several concentrations in accounting, business analytics, economics of financial markets, finance, information systems and technology, law and taxation, marketing, and management.

The program consists of classroom courses which emphasize real-world education through examination of cases and education which will be applicable on the job. Those classes include managerial statistics, economic environment of firms, marketing management, accounting for decision making, financial statement analysis for decision making, law, ethics, and social responsibility, strategic information management, business process management, leading responsibly, global strategy, creating value, and several elective options depending on the concentration of the program.   

Through completion of the program, students will have demonstrated the professionalism and skill necessary to earn the degree. The qualifications demonstrate the student has been able to apply the principles they learned in the program into their eventual development as a functional effective professional in their field.  These qualifications include but are not limited to the ability to design appropriate software system structures in response to application needs, organizational environment, and technical ecology, to make appropriate design choices based on system, service, and business process needs, to use sound evaluation practices to select appropriately among competing technologies and technical approaches, and to manage business processes through analysis, design, and optimization in response to organizational needs.


Applicants with eight or more years of post-graduate work experience are eligible to waive the GMAT requirement for admission. Completed application form including essays. Current résumé. Two letters of recommendation. Official copies of all university-level transcripts (undergraduate and graduate). GMAT or GRE results. TOEFL, IELTS or Pearson’s PTE results, for international applicants.
