Program Details

The online Master of Science in Cybersecurity program combines theory with active learning to provide a framework for protecting an organization’s information and technology assets.  The curriculum focuses on network and software security, risk management, protection mechanisms, business continuity planning, disaster recovery, and governance of information systems.  Students learn the techniques, policies, operational procedures, and technologies that secure and defend information and information systems, in local and broadly-based domains.  You will learn to examine the availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and nonrepudiation of data while expanding your knowledge of protection and risk management techniques in the realm of cyber technologies.


  • Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university, or a U.S. equivalent degree from a nationally or internationally accredited college or university
  • Have maintained a GPA of 2.5 or better from the most recent 60 credits of coursework earned toward the bachelor’s degree or have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better in previous graduate level coursework earned toward the graduate degree
  • May require letters of recommendation and essays in certain circumstances
