Master of Social Work / Advanced Standing
Baylor University

Program Details

Baylor University offers an online social work degree, the Master of Social Work (MSW) with an Advanced Standing option.  The Advanced Standing option is for students who have completed a Bachelor of Social Work within the last five years and allows them to complete the program in as few as 12 months full time rather than the regular 24 months.

This online MSW prepares students to serve and empower vulnerable populations around the world and to address injustice in their communities and beyond from a strengths-based perspective.  The curriculum features an integration of faith and social work practice along with the skills and theories needed to make meaningful, informed change.  Courses prepare students to be culturally responsive, competent professionals who are ready to act as trusted resources and improve the well-being of individuals, families, and communities.
